Some drugs for weight loss also should be avoided such as dexfenfluramine, dextroamphetamine, fenfluramine, or sibutramine. Monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) such as phenelzine, tranylcypromine, isocarboxazid, and selegiline) should not be taken with this drug.
